3-Ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream
Who doesn’t love ice cream? It’s always a decadent treat, though one I rarely buy. Dairy free ice cream usually isn’t in my grocery budget. So my best option is to make my own! As I’ve mentioned in many of my “sweeter” recipes, I always have dead bananas hanging around my house. And here is yet another “dead banana recipe.” This recipe makes ice cream for two servings, but to make a larger batch, just double or triple the recipe!
Peel and slice two dead bananas. Freeze for 12 hours in tupperware. Using a food processor (I’ve tried this with a blender, depending on the power of your blender it may not be successful), puree frozen bananas until they have a smooth texture. Add two tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa powder and a quarter cup of peanut butter—I use brands with only peanuts and salt as the ingredients. Blend for another minute or two until completely combined. Serve immediately with toppings of choice or store in tupperware in the freezer.
